Forest fire in Muğla! Response efforts continue

Aerial and ground interventions are continuing for the forest fires that broke out in the Dalaman and Menteşe districts of Muğla.

Ground teams began responding during the night to the fire that started in the early hours of the morning in the Turnalı neighborhood of Menteşe district and grew due to the wind, while aerial teams began their intervention with the first light of day.

Extinguishing efforts are being carried out from the ground by 23 fire trucks, 6 water supply vehicles, 2 bulldozers, and 131 forestry personnel.

5 helicopters and 1 aircraft are continuing their aerial intervention.

Due to the strong winds effective in the region, teams are having difficulty bringing the flames under control.

The forest fire that started yesterday evening in the Taşbaşı neighborhood of Dalaman district is also ongoing.

Teams responding to the fire from the ground and air are continuing their work.

Citizens living in the region, where strong winds are effective, are also supporting the firefighting efforts.
