A 3-month-old female Rhesus macaque found inside a box at the Antalya Intercity Bus Terminal has settled in Antalya.
The baby monkey, which was named 'Fıstık' (Peanut), was handed over to the Antalya Metropolitan Municipality Wildlife Park after undergoing a veterinary check-up.
FED WITH A SPECIAL DIET
Fıstık, who is regularly checked by veterinarians, is fed a special diet consisting of vegetables, nuts, and eggs.
Continuing its quarantine process in an area equipped with small obstacle courses made of rope ladders and logs to support its physical development, Fıstık can be observed by visitors from a distance.
'IN GOOD SPIRITS'
Fıstık's care, health checks, and treatment are carried out regularly. Wildlife Park officials stated that thanks to Antalya's climate and special care, the baby monkey's health is improving every day. The officials used the phrase, "It is in good spirits and cheerful."
