Galatasaray's new signing, world-famous striker Victor Osimhen, is arriving in Istanbul on a private jet from Naples. Osimhen's journey to Istanbul ranked first in the list of the most-watched flights in the world.
Galatasaray made its fans forget all their sorrow following the defeat it suffered in the Champions League.
In a statement made by Galatasaray to the Public Disclosure Platform (KAP), it was stated, "Official negotiations have begun with professional footballer Victor James Osimhen and his club, SSCN Napoli SPA, regarding his temporary transfer."
Osimhen, who has a market value of 100 million euros, will wear the Galatasaray jersey on a one-year loan.
Galatasaray shared the flight route on YouTube to track Osimhen's journey.
Osimhen's journey to Istanbul ranked 1st in the list of the most-watched flights in the world. Galatasaray's live broadcast was also watched by more than 10 thousand people within 12 minutes. In the following minutes, it approached 30 thousand. The live broadcast lasted 53 minutes.
In comments made during a live broadcast on GS TV, Osimhen said, “I want to thank everyone who came here at this hour of the night. They are already making me feel how much they love me. I will dedicate myself to them in every match and make them cheer and chant for me.”
Galatasaray is a familiar club and one of the biggest in the world. I had heard of them before, and I also know they have amazing fans.
"I am very happy to be playing with Mertens again. I am excited to play together once more," he said.
