Güzide Duran makes a 'regret' confession: Her 16-year marriage is ending

The marriage of Güzide Duran, winner of the 1996 Best Model of Turkey, and businessman Adnan Aksoy, whom she married in 2008, is coming to an end. Güzide Duran made the first statement regarding the crisis in the couple's marriage, who have two children. Duran said, "Yes, it is true, we are going through a process right now."

After returning to Turkey, the couple, who had been living abroad for many years, saw Güzide Duran give an interview to L'Officiel magazine.

Duran stated the following:

'YES, I REGRET IT'

"The children are currently living in Rome. I want to be in Istanbul; of course, I missed it. It has been 16 years since I lived in America and Italy, since I stayed away from my country. I want to return to working here as well."

'If you were to ask, "Do you regret being away from working life for so long?" yes, I do regret it. I mean, I can say I regret it in this way: yes, I dedicated a lot of quality time to my children, I raised them myself, I put in the effort, but I still wish I could have been both a working mother and a mother who could spend time with her children."

It was recently alleged that Güzide Duran had been subjected to physical and psychological abuse by her husband, and Duran had made the following statements to Snob Magazin:

"That is false news; there is already a confidentiality order in place. I am not going into that much detail because there is a confidentiality order. I cannot speak. I was also very surprised that those reports came out. Especially after this decision. Normally, they shouldn't have come out. Let me not talk about these topics at all. It is already prohibited by my lawyer as well."
