In his statement, Minister Yerlikaya said:

'We have extended the renewal period for old-type driver's licenses.

In accordance with the Provisional Article 10 of the Highway Traffic Regulation, the period determined for the renewal of old-type driver's licenses has been extended until July 31, 2025, taking into account current conditions and the needs of our citizens.

There are currently 5 million 413 thousand 148 old-type driver's licenses in circulation.' he said.
