Hazal Kaya could not take it anymore! 'I have been subjected to violence for 1 year'

The recent rise in femicides and incidents of violence in Turkey continues to deeply shake society.

Actress Hazal Kaya participated in Sibel Arna's YouTube program and shared the incidents of violence she has experienced. Kaya stated that she has been subjected to violence for about a year by a person who calls themselves her "fan."

Hazal Kaya said, "I don't want to go into detail and trigger new cases, but I have also been subjected to violence for about 1 year."

Kaya used the expressions, "There are situations where I have cried out for 'help' and could not find a remedy. Please enforce the laws. Let us not die anymore."

In the program, Kaya also mentioned the series 'Sorgu', in which she plays the lead role, saying, "It is a series with very serious statements about violence. We will watch very heavy things throughout 10 episodes. On one hand, we are witnessing it live in our country. We are in a very difficult place. We need to remind people that those who die are not just a number, but human beings; they are someone's daughter, someone's lover, someone's closest friend. The only thing that needs to be done right now is to ensure that the laws are enforced."
