He was seen behind Semih Çelik as he jumped: The identity of that person has been revealed
The moment Semih Çelik jumped from the Edirnekapı walls and committed suicide after murdering two young women in Istanbul was recorded. The identity of the person seen behind him at that moment has been determined.
According to information obtained last week in Eyüpsultan, Istanbul, 19-year-old Semih Çelik first killed Ayşenur Halil in his own home, and subsequently killed İkbal Uzuner at the Fatih Edirnekapı Walls.
As Çelik threw the young girl's dismembered body in front of her mother, who had arrived at the scene, he finally jumped from the walls himself.
While the moment of the suicide was recorded by bystanders, the identity of the person seen standing behind Çelik had become a subject of curiosity.
According to a report by Sabah, it was learned that the individual was a police negotiator who had arrived at the scene. Just as the police officer was about to make a move, the perpetrator, Semih Çelik, freed himself from the rope he had tied to himself and jumped.
