The Entrepreneur Support Program, updated this year with the motto "KOSGEB Chooses Its Entrepreneurs," has completed the 2024 1st and 2nd term application processes for Business Development Support.

WHEN IS THE FINAL APPLICATION DEADLINE?

KOSGEB's interest-free loan campaign for entrepreneurs continues. Applications, which began on December 1, will end on December 31. Entrepreneurs who qualify for support as a result of their application will be provided with up to 1.5 million lira in support.

WHAT WILL THE UPPER LIMIT BE?

In line with its 2024-2028 strategies, KOSGEB has increased the upper limit of the Entrepreneur Support Program from 375 thousand TL to 2 million TL. The 2024 1st term applications were held between May 10 and June 28, 2024. The 2nd term applications took place between August 1 and August 30, 2024. If the entrepreneur is young, female, disabled, a veteran, or a first-degree relative of a martyr, an additional 150 thousand TL will be added to the support upper limit.

WHICH SECTORS CAN BENEFIT?

Businesses operating in the "Manufacturing, Telecommunications, Computer Programming, Consultancy and Related Activities, Information Service Activities, Scientific Research and Development Activities" sectors will be able to benefit from business development support.

EXPENSES TO BE SUPPORTED

Within the scope of the interest-free loan support, the business's personnel expenses, machinery-equipment and mold expenses, software expenses, and service procurement expenses (training, consultancy and mentoring, certification, testing and analysis, marketing, design, industrial property rights expenses) will be supported.

WHAT ARE THE APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS FOR A KOSGEB INTEREST-FREE LOAN?

Halkbank offers university graduates up to 1 million lira with a 36-month term and a 6-month grace period. For firms that are entrepreneurs in the First Step Loan, the main criteria are having at least a 50 percent share, having graduated from university no more than 2 years ago, and not being over 29 years old.

The firm receiving the loan must have been in operation for a maximum of 1 year, and the firm must be operating or planning to operate in the field from which the founding partner graduated. An 80 percent Credit Guarantee Fund (KGF) guarantee is also provided for the loan collateral.
