How was Ismail Haniyeh killed? The 'precision bomb' detail

According to a report by Israel's Channel 12 television, Hamas Political Bureau Chief Ismail Haniyeh was targeted with a "precision bomb" that had been planted in advance in his room at a guesthouse where he was staying in Tehran.

The report claimed that the assassination was carried out by Israel's foreign intelligence agency, Mossad, as a result of months of meticulous planning.

According to information shared by Channel 12, Mossad tracked Haniyeh's movements for a long time and determined that he consistently stayed at the same guesthouse during his visits to Iran.

The bomb, which was placed in the room where Haniyeh was being hosted by the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps, was detonated remotely.

AIR CONDITIONING MALFUNCTION COMPLICATED THE OPERATION

The report stated that a situation occurred during the assassination where the operation almost resulted in failure. When the air conditioning in the room where Haniyeh was staying broke down, there was talk of moving him out of the room, but it was stated that the maintenance team repaired the malfunction.

ISRAEL HAD CONFIRMED THE ASSASSINATION

Haniyeh lost his life as a result of an assassination carried out on July 31, while he was in Tehran to attend the inauguration ceremony of Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian.

Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz confirmed in a statement on December 23 that the assassination was carried out by Tel Aviv.
