The rain of price hikes on diesel and gasoline prices has continued since the new year. According to the latest information obtained, another price hike is coming for diesel and gasoline prices before the first month of the new year has even ended.

PRICE HIKES COMING FOR DIESEL AND GASOLINE!

As of the night of Wednesday, January 16, a price hike of 2.37 TL per liter is expected for diesel, and a price hike of 1.56 TL per liter is expected for gasoline on the night of Thursday, January 17.

A 6 percent SCT (Special Consumption Tax) hike was reflected at the pump starting January 1, and in the same week, gasoline was hiked again by 1.27 TL and diesel by 1 TL.

With the price hikes to be implemented on January 16, it is estimated that diesel prices will exceed 48 TL in Istanbul and Ankara, 49 TL in Izmir, and could potentially cross the 50 TL threshold, especially in eastern provinces.
