Increase in TÜBİTAK scholarship payments... New scholarship rates have been announced

The monthly upper limits for scholarships provided by the TÜBİTAK Research Support Programs Directorate (ARDEB), the Scientist Support Programs Directorate (BİDEB), and the Technology and Innovation Support Programs Directorate (TEYDEB) have been increased.

Which departments will receive how much of an increase in scholarship amounts?

Associate and undergraduate students: The scholarship amount has been increased from 4 thousand liras to 4 thousand 800 liras.

Master's students: The scholarship amount has been raised from 13 thousand 500 liras to 16 thousand 500 liras.

Doctoral students: The scholarship amount has been increased from 20 thousand liras to 24 thousand liras.

Postdoctoral researchers: The scholarship amount has been increased from 27 thousand liras to 32 thousand liras.

TÜBİTAK's performance payments have also been announced.

PhD students: If they apply according to the criteria determined in the BİDEB 2250 Graduate Scholarship Performance Program, the scholarship amount can reach up to 8 thousand 700 liras.

Postdoctoral researchers: Depending on the same performance criteria, the scholarship amount can be increased up to 10 thousand 500 liras.

Minister of Industry and Technology Mehmet Fatih Kacır stated the following in a post on his social media account: "We have increased the TÜBİTAK scholarships we offer to our scientists, researchers, and students.

We will continue our support for our researcher human resources, who will carry Turkey to the top ranks in the world and build the bright future of this country. We will achieve our National Technology Initiative goals with our well-trained human resources," he said.
