It has been claimed that Pep Guardiola wanted Hakan Çalhanoğlu following Rodri's injury at Manchester City.

The Spanish press reported that Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola wants to bolster his midfield rotation with Hakan Çalhanoğlu to compensate for Rodri's absence.

Hakan, who has been playing for Inter Milan since 2021, has scored 31 goals in 147 appearances for the Serie A giants. On the other hand, he has also provided 24 assists.

45 MILLION EUROS FOR HAKAN ÇALHANOĞLU

Inter had demanded 45 million Euros for the star player, whom they do not want to let go but might consider parting with due to the club's financial difficulties.
