Journalist Ferit Demir suffers a heart attack
Halk TV reporter and journalist Ferit Demir has been hospitalized after suffering a heart attack. It has been learned that Demir, who has recently been in the spotlight for his reporting on the murder of 8-year-old Narin Güran in Diyarbakır, is in good health.
Halk TV reporter and Tunceli Journalists Association President, journalist Ferit Demir, fell ill at his home this morning.
Demir was taken to Tunceli State Hospital by his relatives.
Examinations revealed a blockage in his coronary arteries, and Demir was taken into surgery for an angiogram procedure.
It has been learned that Demir is not in life-threatening condition.
In recent months, Ferit Demir has been in the spotlight for his reporting on the murder of 8-year-old Narin Güran, who went missing in Tavşantepe village in the Bağlar district of Diyarbakır and whose lifeless body was later discovered.
