Journalists Association Holds 'Regional Training and Journalist Meeting' in Mardin

The Journalists Association of Turkey (TGC) gathered in Mardin for the "Regional Training and Journalist Meeting". The meeting, held at the Yay Grand Hotel, lasted for two days. There was significant interest in the meeting from media workers and press professional organizations.

In the first session of the day, 12punto Editor-in-Chief and journalist Mustafa Büyüksipahi gave a presentation under the title "Journalism and Internet Journalism Training". Büyüksipahi emphasized the key points of internet journalism and touched upon the intricacies of increasing website traffic.

Experienced journalist Ünsal Ünlü shared the intricacies of YouTube broadcasting with participants in a session titled "Existing on YouTube".

Speaking at the end of the event, Mehmet Çelik, President of the Southeastern Anatolia Journalists Federation and the Mardin Journalists Association, thanked the Journalists Association, stating, "In the two days we spent productively, my friends and I learned new things and gained new information. We acquired very valuable knowledge on artificial intelligence and YouTube. I believe the program was very beneficial, and I trust you agree with me. I would like to express my respects and greetings once again to the management of the Journalists Association, and especially to our master, veteran journalist Nazmi Bilgin. I am so glad you came to Mardin."

Journalists Association Vice President Ali Oruç included the following remarks in his closing speech for the event:

"Dear presidents, esteemed colleagues, we have concluded our event in Mardin. I hope it has been beneficial. I would like to thank Mehmet Çelik, President of the Southeastern Anatolia Journalists Federation and the Mardin Journalists Association, who contributed to the realization of this meeting; he humbled us with his hospitality. I thank Şafak Sarı for providing training on the use of artificial intelligence, Attorney Özlem Günel Tekşen for providing legal training related to our profession, Mustafa Büyüksipahi for addressing strategies and revenue models in internet journalism, and Ünsal Ünlü for sharing his experiences with us in the 'Existing on YouTube' session for sharing their knowledge and experience. I hope we will hold these meetings in our other provinces as well. Thank you again for attending, and I offer my respects."
