The release decision was met with great satisfaction, especially by the Polat family. Engin Polat's sister, Kübra Mert, shared a post that read "RELEASE".

Additionally, Engin Polat's sister, Kübra Mert, reshared a post by Dilan Polat's brother, Can Doğu, which emphasized that "Independent Turkish justice has made its independent decision."

Dilan Polat's sister, Sıla Doğu, also shared a post regarding the recent developments. Doğu expressed her happiness, stating, "We are very grateful that the truth has been revealed by the supreme independent Turkish judiciary and that justice has been served. We are very happy, it is indescribable."
