Juventus, a team in the Italian top football league (Serie A), has terminated the contract of French midfielder Paul Pogba.
In a statement released by the club, it was noted that the termination process was carried out by mutual agreement between the parties. As a result, Pogba will become a free agent on November 30.
HE HAD RECEIVED A DOPING BAN
The 31-year-old Pogba, who was handed a 4-year ban by the Italian Anti-Doping Organization for doping, appealed the decision, and the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) reduced the sentence to 1.5 years.
Paul Pogba's suspension ends as of March 2025.
Fenerbahçe and Beşiktaş have reportedly begun transfer operations.
Pogba, who was also offered to Beşiktaş through agents, has a market value in the region of 20 million Euros.
Pogba was most recently earning 10 million euros per year at Juventus.
It has also been claimed that Fenerbahçe is interested in the star player.
A total of 105 million euros in transfer fees has been paid for Pogba, who plays as a central midfielder, to date.
Pogba, who won the World Cup with France, wants to return to football.
The star player's salary expectations are causing clubs to hesitate.
