"In recent days, there have been allegations in some media outlets that 69 million TL was paid for the Ebru Gündeş concert.
Our internal audit unit has launched an investigation regarding this matter. The payment for the concert has not been made and will not be made until the investigation is completed.
The necessary explanation will be provided following the investigation. With a transparent and accountable management approach, we would like to state that the requested figure does not cover a single concert, but rather the expenses for the 100th Anniversary Republic Day events held on October 28-29, as well as technical setup and concert fees.
We would like to state that we will not waste the money of the people of Ankara, and that resources will be used in the best way for the people of Ankara again."
