March awaits art lovers at the Sabancı Performing Arts Center! The March 2025 calendar has been announced!

The Sabancı Performing Arts Center hosts many artistic events every month, presenting them to the appreciation of art lovers of all ages. The performing arts center has released its March calendar, featuring a variety of entertaining and highly enjoyable events for the month of March 2025.

MY WOUNDS ARE FROM LOVE (YARALARIM AŞKTANDIR)

The Sabancı University Performing Arts Center begins March on Tuesday, March 4, with Nazan Kesal’s one-woman performance, “Yaralarım Aşktandır” (My Wounds Are From Love).

This poetic play, which focuses on the life of the Iranian female poet Forough Farrokhzad, will present the meaning of love, freedom, and resistance to the audience from a different perspective.

Written by Şebnem İşigüzel and directed by Berfin Zenderlioğlu, this special play promises a deep emotional journey for the audience.

DOES LOVE END? (AŞK BİTER Mİ?)

One of the events continuing to be staged in March will be the play “Aşk Biter Mi?” (Does Love End?), featuring Kerem Alışık and Evrim Alasya, on Wednesday, March 12.

Accompanied by the poems and songs of poets, a journey of love stretching from Ahmet Arif to Didem Madak will offer the audience an unforgettable experience.

A MELODY (BİR TERENNÜM)

The play titled “Bir Terennüm” (A Melody), which will be staged on Tuesday, March 18, will focus on intertwined lives experienced in different time periods of Istanbul.

Written by Firuze Engin and directed by Gülhan Kadim, this play will successfully blend drama and comedy to present a deep portrait of Istanbul to the audience.

READY OR NOT, HERE COME MY EMOTIONS (ÖNÜM ARKAM DUYGULARIM SOBE)

The Sabancı University Performing Arts Center has not forgotten its youngest audience members. The interactive theater play titled 'Önüm Arkam Duygularım Sobe' (Ready or Not, Here Come My Emotions), which will be staged on Sunday, March 23, at 15:00, will be aimed at children aged 3 and over.

This play will offer children the opportunity to take a delightful journey into the world of emotions.

YÜKSEK SADAKAT

SGM has not forgotten music lovers in March either. On the evening of Thursday, March 20, Yüksek Sadakat, one of the important representatives of rock music, will perform their beloved tracks.

IKSV YOUNG JAZZ NIGHT

On Tuesday, March 25, the IKSV Young Jazz Night will be held for jazz lovers. This event, where innovative groups such as Mojo 5, Alân, and Mercimek will take the stage, will provide an unforgettable night for jazz music enthusiasts.
