In the statement made by the MGM Istanbul Regional Forecast and Early Warning Center, it was stated that the wind is expected to blow from the north and northeast as a storm with a force of 6 to 8 (50-75 km/h) starting from tomorrow evening, and as a strong storm with a force of 7 to 9 (75-90 km/h) in some places starting from Thursday evening.
While the storm is expected to lose its effect on Saturday night, the statement emphasized that one should be careful and take precautions against negative consequences such as roof dislodgement, the toppling of trees or poles, stove and natural gas-related flue gas poisoning, and disruptions in transportation.
