'WE HAD BEEN TALKING TO BURUK ON FACETIME FOR 3-4 SEASONS'
Bats revealed that he had been in contact with Galatasaray manager Okan Buruk even before signing with Galatasaray.
Batshuayi said the following regarding the matter:
"The interesting thing is that I had been talking to Okan Buruk for 3 or 4 seasons. We would talk via FaceTime every summer.
'I DO NOT REGRET COMING TO G.SARAY'
I said to myself, 'Now is the time, let's do it.' He showed me how much he trusted me and how much he wanted me.
It is not a common situation for a manager to call a player for 3-4 summers in a row.
That is why I told myself it was the right time. I do not regret this decision of mine."
Batshuayi was transferred from Chelsea to Fenerbahçe in 2022 for 3.5 million Euros.
