A statement has been released by the law firm where Ece Gürel, who was found alive 72 hours after going missing in the Belgrade Forest on Sunday but later passed away, had worked for 10 years. A new message was shared via the firm's social media account following Gürel's death.
For days, Turkey has been talking about landscape architect Ece Gürel, who was found alive after going missing in the Belgrade Forest but later passed away due to causes related to internal bleeding and hypothermia.
After going for a walk in the Belgrade Forest on Sunday and subsequently losing contact, Gürel's belongings were found first, and she was discovered 9 meters from the spot where her belongings were located.
Landscape architect Ece Gürel, who was found alive 72 hours after going missing, was taken under treatment at the hospital but could not be saved despite interventions.
Initial examinations found no signs of assault or sexual abuse on Gürel's body. While the mystery behind the incident was being questioned, the painful news from the hospital revealed that Gürel lost her battle for life around 03:00 at night.
Although Gürel's primary field was landscape architecture, it was revealed that she had been working at a law firm for 10 years, and allegations that she had been subjected to mobbing at the firm where she had been working for some time had surfaced.
A new statement has come from the law firm in question. The statement made via the firm's social media account included the expressions, "We are in deep sorrow over the loss of our colleague Ece Gürel."
