Ahmet Necip Fazıl Kısakürek was born in Istanbul on May 26, 1904, and passed away in the same city on May 25, 1983. He is a world-renowned Turkish poet, writer, and thinker. He wrote in the genres of poetry, theater, columns, short stories, articles, history, criticism, and biography.

His most important theatrical work is Bir Adam Yaratmak.

Bir Adam Yaratmak is a three-act play written by Necip Fazıl Kısakürek in 1937. This work describes the great spiritual suffering experienced by a playwright. It touches upon the themes of fear of death, the suffering of art, fate, and insanity from different perspectives.

The work was also brought to the screen on television in 1977 as a three-part series by Yücel Çakmaklı. Necip Fazıl Kısakürek’s play "Bir Adam Yaratmak," considered one of the important works of Turkish literature, will become a film after 87 years.
