New details emerge in the murder of Şirin Elmas! Suspect's words are chilling

Details have emerged regarding the murder of 6-year-old Şirin Elmas Hanilçi, whose lifeless body was found in Feriköy Cemetery 2 days after she went missing in Şişli.

According to the report by Habertürk reporter Mustafa Şekeroğlu, little Şirin Elmas went missing after leaving her home in the Paşa neighborhood of Şişli on October 31 at around 16:00.

FOOTAGE OBTAINED

Following the report of the little girl's disappearance, teams from the Şişli District Police Department, the Public Security Bureau, and the Child Protection Bureau launched a joint investigation.

During the investigation, footage was obtained showing Şirin Elmas walking along Savar Street with a paper collector.

In the examined footage, it was seen that the little girl and the paper collector walked together for approximately 800 meters toward Feriköy Cemetery.

LEFT THE CEMETERY ALONE

It was observed that the suspect, who entered Feriköy Cemetery with the little girl, left the cemetery alone after a while and headed in the direction of Şişli Square.

It was determined that the little girl never left the cemetery after the suspect's departure.

Following this, an investigation was immediately launched into the identity of the paper collector.

In a short time, it was determined that the paper collector was 49-year-old Mustafa Örün, who had a criminal record.

HIS FIRST WORDS WERE "I KILLED THE LITTLE GIRL"

It was determined that the suspect, Mustafa Örün, was staying in a shack on Özden Street in the Yayla neighborhood.

Police teams went to the shack and apprehended the suspect. Upon his capture, the suspect Mustafa Örün's first words to the police were, "I killed the little girl in Feriköy Cemetery. I can show you the location if you want."

This information was immediately reported to the prosecutor's office. After a search was conducted at the killer suspect's shack, the suspect was taken to Feriköy Cemetery under the prosecutor's instructions.

HE POINTED OUT THE LIFELESS BODY

During the crime scene reconstruction, which was also attended by the prosecutor investigating the case, the murder suspect pointed out the place where he had hidden the lifeless body of Şirin Elmas, whom he had killed. An investigation was immediately conducted at the scene.

Following the investigation, the lifeless body of Şirin Elmas, who had been missing for 2 days and was determined to have been a victim of murder, was sent to the Forensic Medicine Institute for examination.

EXPLAINED THE DETAILS OF THE MURDER AT THE SCENE

During the work carried out at the cemetery for the crime scene reconstruction, the murder suspect explained in detail how he committed the chilling murder. Claiming that the little girl followed him while he was walking with his cart, often referred to as a "çek çek" on the street, the killer suspect said, "She asked me for 200 TL near the grave. When I didn't give it, she cursed at me. I was already in a bad mood, so I got angry. I took the child into the cemetery and strangled her with the scarf I took from her between two graves. I covered her with grass."

ARRESTED ON TWO CHARGES

After his procedures at the police station, the perpetrator was taken to the courthouse and was arrested by the Duty Criminal Judgeship of Peace on charges of "Qualified Sexual Abuse of a Child" and "Intentional Killing of a Child" and sent to prison.

Whether the murder suspect sexually assaulted Şirin Elmas will be revealed as a result of the autopsy to be performed at the Forensic Medicine Institute.
