New regulations on the way for private hospitals: Changing from A to Z

A legislative proposal containing new regulations for intensive care services and the working conditions of healthcare personnel in private hospitals has been prepared.

This proposal aims to implement a 'confirmation system' for intensive care transfers and to protect the rights of healthcare workers.

The legislative proposal envisions introducing new criteria for patient transfers to intensive care units. In this context, a 'confirmation system' will be activated for transfers from other hospitals or within the same hospital.

With this system, it is aimed to prevent the unnecessary use of intensive care units.

The qualifications and working conditions of healthcare personnel will also be improved with the new regulations. Inspections will be tightened by taking into account factors such as the personnel's specialty, the training they have received, and their performance during their tenure.

Furthermore, special provisions will be introduced to resolve issues experienced regarding matters such as employees' wage payments, working hours, and leave rights.
