The series, titled Başkan Ev Hapsi (Mayor Under House Arrest), is directed by Mustafa Şevki Doğan. According to a report by Birsen Altuntaş, the 8-episode political drama series for the Gain platform was written by Ercan Mehmet Erdem.
In the series, Kaynarca will bring to life the character of Aziz Saygın, a mayor sentenced to house arrest due to allegations of corruption and bribery.
