Producer of 'Şakir Paşa Ailesi' series appeals court decision

The broadcast of the series 'Şakir Paşa Ailesi: Mucizeler ve Skandallar', starring Vahide Perçin and Fırat Tanış, which has been a topic of discussion since its premiere, was halted as a result of a lawsuit filed by the grandchildren of Cevat Şakir Kabaağaçlı.

The episodes of the series that had already been released were also removed from the internet. While there is curiosity about whether the series will continue, a new move has come from the producer.

According to a report by journalist Birsen Altuntaş, the production company will file an appeal today against the injunction obtained by the grandchildren.

If the court does not accept the appeal, the series' run on screen will come to an end. The team behind the series, which was also issued a 3-episode broadcast suspension and an administrative fine by RTÜK last week, is waiting for news from the production company.

Everything will be determined by the court's decision regarding Medyapım's appeal.
