The famous couple of the Yargı series, which aired its final episode in recent months and broke ratings records during its broadcast, Uğur Aslan and Sema Ergenekon, have once again won the appreciation of their fans.
It has been learned that screenwriter Sema Ergenekon, who is praised for her work, and her actor husband Uğur Aslan have been quietly providing aid to earthquake survivors living in the region since the earthquakes that occurred on February 6, 2023.
When asked by a reporter, "Is it true that you go around from grocery store to grocery store paying off the debts of earthquake survivors?" Uğur Aslan replied, "Don't say that. It's not much of an achievement. It feels strange to me that something that should be normal in this day and age is now met with praise. Thank God we have the means and we are providing support. Let's close this subject."
Uğur Aslan lost 11 members of his family in the aforementioned earthquakes and had personally taken part in search and rescue efforts during those days.
