Reactions are snowballing against Halk TV's decision to host pro-government figure Rasim Ozan Kütahyalı on its YouTube channel to evaluate the ongoing process regarding the PKK terrorist organization.

The interview in question was announced on Halk TV's social media accounts with the words, "Journalist Rasim Ozan Kütahyalı revealed very striking information about the process on the Halk TV YouTube channel!"

The first reaction to the interview came from Halk TV viewers. Numerous accounts on social media poured out reactions to the interview. However, the reactions did not stop there. Many on-air personalities from within the channel also reacted to the interview conducted with Rasim Ozan Kütahyalı.

As the reactions continued unabated, İsmail Küçükkaya made a brief statement on his program, Yeni Bir Sabah, which he hosts on Halk TV. Emphasizing that different opinions should be tolerated, Küçükkaya said, "Let's get rid of the lynch culture now."

The strongest reaction from the Halk TV family came from the team of Kayda Geçsin, which airs on Tuesday evenings. Program host Barış Pehlivan said, "Halk TV is a source of pride for these lands. It has risen on the shoulders of the most honorable people of this country, from its owner to its interns. This was an interview unworthy of this accumulation and effort."

Timur Soykan stated, "It saddened me to see this person, who acted as a hitman for FETÖ members and the Palace regime, appear under the Halk TV logo, which has paid the price for the struggle for democracy."

Another reaction came from Murat Ağırel. In a post on his social media account, Ağırel said, "Seeing this situation on a platform where we have put in years of effort contradicts my principles and my understanding of journalism."

Making a statement following the criticisms, Rasim Ozan Kütahyalı posted on his social media account, saying, "Halk TV is in turmoil, but it is actually me who should be angry at Halk TV."

The biggest of the reactions that poured in hours after the interview was published came from Halk TV columnist Serpil Yılmaz.
