Raw milk price increased
The National Milk Council has decided to increase the raw milk price by 17 percent, effective from the first day of the new year, setting the net price to be received by the producer at 17.15 TL per liter.
With the arrival of the new year, expected price hikes on products have begun to materialize. The National Dairy Council has responded to the demands of milk producers to increase raw milk prices due to rising costs.
The National Dairy Council (USK) announced a 17 percent increase in the recommended raw milk price. According to the announcement on the council's website, the recommended raw milk price has been set to take effect as of January 1, 2025.
PRODUCERS WILL RECEIVE A NET 17.15 LIRA PER LITER
Accordingly, the recommended selling price for raw cow's milk with 3.6 percent fat and 3.2 percent protein content has been set so that the producer will receive a net 17.15 lira per liter.
If cooling, transportation, and other current expenses are covered by the producer, these costs will be paid to the producer in addition.
A difference of 25 kuruş will be applied for every 0.1 change in the base fat and protein ratios.
