Following the decision to provide a zero percent raise to the pensions of millions, the lowest pension payment was increased from 10 thousand liras to 12 thousand 500 liras. After the pensioners' increased salaries, banks are also set to adjust their promotional offers. Pensioners who exceed the promotional brackets set by banks will be eligible to receive higher promotion payments.

With the recent raises, public banks, which had increased their promotion amounts from 3-5 thousand liras to 8-12 thousand liras, had raised their upper limits to 18 thousand liras to attract more customers. Banks have now increased their promotions once again. At some banks, the promotion amount has reached up to 24 thousand liras.
