As a result of the search efforts that were immediately launched, Rojin's body was found 18 days later in the Mollakasım neighborhood of the Tuşba district, 24 kilometers away from the Yüzüncü Yıl University shore. The body was sent to the Council of Forensic Medicine for an autopsy.
