RTÜK President Şahin issues warning regarding Kartalkaya: 'Be more careful'

Radio and Television Supreme Council (RTÜK) President Ebubekir Şahin made a statement, noting that the investigation into the cause of the fire at the Grand Kartal Hotel in Bolu Kartalkaya is ongoing.

Şahin said, "We request our broadcasting organizations to be more careful in their news content and comments regarding the subject due to the sensitivity of the matter."

RTÜK President Şahin made the statement regarding the fire at the Grand Kartal Hotel in the Bolu Kartalkaya Ski Center via his social media account.

Şahin stated the following:

"The fire that broke out at a hotel in the Bolu Kartalkaya Ski Center has deeply saddened us. I wish God's mercy upon our citizens who lost their lives and a speedy recovery to the injured. May God not let us experience such disasters again. The investigation into the cause of the fire is still ongoing. We request our broadcasting organizations to be more careful in their news content and comments regarding the subject due to the sensitivity of the matter."
