RTÜK rains down suspension penalties on popular TV series: When will Arka Sokaklar, Deha, and Sahipsizler not be aired?

The Radio and Television Supreme Council (RTÜK) has imposed suspension penalties on broadcasters that acted against national and moral values, normalized violence in society, and violated regulations. In this context, following scenes in the series Arka Sokaklar, Deha, Sahipsizler, and Yabani, the channels were issued a 2-episode broadcast suspension and a 3 percent administrative fine. The dates when these hit series will not be aired have been announced.

In this context, suspension penalties and a 3 percent administrative fine were issued for the series Arka Sokaklar, Deha, Sahipsizler, and Yabani. The penalty for the series “Yabani” was the first to be notified to NOW TV.

According to the report by journalist Birsen Altuntaş, the penalty for Star TV's series Sahipsizler will be implemented on January 1 and January 8, the penalty for Kanal D's series Arka Sokaklar on December 27 and January 3, and the penalty for Show TV's series Deha on January 5 and January 12.
