Separatist terrorist organization PKK makes 'right to hope' statement: Calls on Devlet Bahçeli
Mustafa Karasu, one of the so-called leaders of the terrorist organization PKK, stated that MHP leader Devlet Bahçeli should ensure the realization of the 'right to hope'.
Following the establishment and procedural determination of the commission in the Turkish Grand National Assembly (TBMM) regarding the resolution process, Mustafa Karasu, one of the leaders of the separatist terrorist organization PKK, made statements to ANF, one of the organization's media outlets.
Stating that Turkey has not taken steps regarding the 'right to hope', the terrorist Karasu recalled the parliamentary speeches of MHP Chairman Devlet Bahçeli and noted the following:
"Devlet Bahçeli clearly said this: 'Let them disband their organization, let them give up armed struggle, let the Right to Hope be put into practice.' He even said, 'Let him come and speak in Parliament.' They did not dare to let him speak in Parliament. Otherwise, the Leader could have explained the reasons for the disbanding of the PKK and the cessation of the armed struggle more accurately to the public. They did not do this, but Devlet Bahçeli said, 'The right to hope will be activated.' Then Devlet Bahçeli needs to stand by his word. In other words, before anyone else, Devlet Bahçeli needs to focus on this issue and ensure that the right to hope is put into practice and realized. This is not just a promise made by Devlet Bahçeli. Devlet Bahçeli made that statement in agreement with Erdoğan."
''WHAT WILL BE SOLVED IN 2-3 MONTHS?''
Speaking about the commission being limited to 2-3 months, Karasu used the following expressions:
"What will be solved in 2-3 months? There is a Kurdish issue, there is a democratization issue in Turkey. If the commission is not going to be about these, what will be the point? 'If this commission is only going to deal with the situation of those who will lay down their arms and come, and take a step regarding that, then this is wrong, this is incomplete. This does not meet the needs of the current process. It is said, how did this process start? To ensure Turkey's security... There are developments inside and outside that will put Turkey's security at risk. If such a process was started to prevent these, then it means it cannot be a commission where only the laying down of arms and the situation of those who lay down their arms will be discussed. Limiting this commission to this would truly be sabotaging the process."
"There is a process in Turkey. Leader Apo called this the 'Peace and Democracy Society Process' and 'the democratization of Turkey.' For this, a change in mentality and a change in political understanding are required. It is clear: If Devlet Bahçeli, who until yesterday was saying 'DEM Party should be closed,' 'The Constitution should be closed,' and 'All kinds of practices should be applied regarding the Kurds,' is taking a step and talking about Turkish-Kurdish brotherhood, if this is truly such a process, then the political understanding must change. One should not act with the understanding of a year ago. One should not approach Rojava, Northern and Eastern Syria with the understanding of a year ago.
In this respect, the approach to the Kurds in Syria, in Northern and Eastern Syria, and in Rojava must be correct. It should not be threatening like this. In fact, they should offer support for the Kurds to attain their freedom in Syria."
