She had exposed harassment messages: Verdict in the lawsuit filed by Mehmet Ali Erbil against Ece Ronay

Famous showman Mehmet Ali Erbil, who is constantly in the headlines for his private life, was accused of harassing Ece Ronay.

The prosecutor had requested a total of 7 years and 3 months in prison for Mehmet Ali Erbil, who is being tried on charges of harassing and threatening Ronay, for 2 separate offenses.

A verdict has been reached in another case between the two parties.

Erbil filed a lawsuit against Ece Ronay at the Istanbul 21st Criminal Court of First Instance through his lawyer, Şeyda Yıldırım, for the crime of violating the confidentiality of communications after she disclosed messages belonging to him.

ONE YEAR PRISON SENTENCE

According to the report by journalist Birsen Altuntaş, Ece Ronay was sentenced to 1 year in prison in the latest hearing. The sentence was converted into a judicial fine of 6 thousand TL.

DEFERRAL DECISION REVOKED

However, this decision caused trouble for Ece Ronay because she had a 5-year suspended sentence for a crime committed in another case at the Çeşme 1st Criminal Court of First Instance on 11.06.2019.

The deferral decision was revoked, and she will be retried in her previous case.
