Former banker Seçil Erzan is appearing before the judge for the sixth time today over allegations of a 27 million dollar fraud. Erzan is being tried with a potential sentence of up to 358 years in prison on charges of convincing complainants to invest in a fictitious fund with promises of high returns.
Former banker Seçil Erzan, who is accused of defrauding 20 people, including famous football players, is appearing before the judge for the sixth time today.

It is stated that Seçil Erzan, the key figure in the trial being held at the Istanbul Courthouse, convinced complainants to deposit money into an imaginary fund with promises of high returns and committed fraud using forged documents.
In addition to Erzan, defendants Ali Yörük, Kerem Can, Hüseyin Eligül, Nazlı Can, Atilla Yörük, and Asiye Öztürk face prison sentences ranging from 3 to 98 years, while a sentence of 3 to 10 years is requested for Rüya Sağır.
A 27-PAGE LETTER FROM ERZAN TO THE COURT
Prior to the hearing, Erzan sent a 27-page letter to the presiding judge, in which she accused the complainants.
Erzan claimed that the complainants approached her with the intention of multiplying their money, while accusing some famous names of loan sharking.
WHAT HAS HAPPENED IN THE CASE SO FAR?
According to the indictment, Seçil Erzan collected money from complainants by promising high returns after establishing a relationship of trust while working as a branch manager at a bank in Levent.
It is stated that Erzan, who allegedly committed fraud using documents prepared with bank stamps and forged signatures, received a total of 27 million dollars from football players, business people, and individuals from various professional groups.
It is noted that the complainants include well-known names from the sports world such as Arda Turan, Emre Belözoğlu, and Fatih Terim. As a result of investigations conducted by the bank, it was determined that no such fund actually existed.
