Shocking confession from Meltem Miraloğlu: My identity was stolen, I am a hostage in America!
Actress Meltem Miraloğlu announced that after settling in America with her husband, who is 48 years her senior, Patrick Grady, their identities were stolen and she is therefore unable to return to Turkey. In a video shared on social media, she stated that she is being held hostage in America and wants to gain her freedom by obtaining American citizenship. Miraloğlu emphasized that she made this statement in order to file a criminal complaint.
Actress Meltem Miraloğlu, who moved to America after marrying Patrick Grady, who is 48 years her senior, announced that their identities were stolen and she is therefore unable to return to Turkey.
“Hayat Devam Ediyor” (Life Goes On), the series in which she became famous for her role as a child bride, saw Meltem Miraloğlu move to America and enter into a surprise marriage there with Patrick Grady, who is 48 years her senior.
Miraloğlu, who is alleged to have made a fortune-worth inheritance agreement in her marriage to Grady, announced through videos posted on her social media accounts that their identities were stolen and that she is being held hostage in America.
Meltem Miraloğlu, who is asking for help, said the following in the video she released:
"I am Meltem Miraloğlu, I was born in Diyarbakır. Since my childhood, I have been dedicated to the triangle of theater, television series, and cinema, which have been an inseparable whole for me. The series and films I have acted in for years are still being watched.
I would like to state that I am making this speech not to give an interview to the press, but to file a criminal complaint. My identities were stolen. I am being held hostage in America. My return to Turkey is being prevented. I want to obtain my American citizenship and regain my freedom."
