Somer Sivrioğlu shares the bill to expect at his restaurant: 'It's not expensive'
MasterChef Türkiye jury member Somer Sivrioğlu spoke about the prices at his restaurant in Istanbul. Stating that the prices at his restaurant are not expensive, Sivrioğlu shared the amount of the bill to expect for one person.
Somer Sivrioğlu, a jury member on the MasterChef Türkiye competition broadcast on TV8, was a guest on Hülya Avşar's YouTube program 'Bir Hülya Avşar Sohbeti'.
On the program, Hülya Avşar spoke about the restaurant that Sivrioğlu purchased and began operating in Beşiktaş, Istanbul, in recent years.
Avşar said the following:
"I want to ask this, for example, let's say people who are not middle class but have an income a bit lower than that, people working for minimum wage, they cannot go to your shop."
In response to Hülya Avşar's comment, Sivrioğlu noted the following:
"Well, our prices are not that high; I specifically tried to keep it at a bistro level. It's not a restaurant that would be called luxury, but of course, it would cost 2000-3000 TL per person."
Responding to Avşar's follow-up comment, "So it's not for minimum wage. Maybe you are affordable for those above that," Sivrioğlu said, "We specifically wanted to set the prices this way. We didn't want it to be a very expensive place."
