Spider-Man returns to the screen with a new Avengers member!

The new Spider-Man film, brought to life through the partnership between Marvel and Sony, will be released on July 31, 2026. Tom Holland will once again star in the fourth film of the series in the role of Peter Parker.

A HULK SURPRISE FROM MARVEL

According to a report by Nexus Point News, which is known for its proximity to Marvel, Mark Ruffalo will once again bring the character of Hulk to life in the film Spider-Man: Brand New Day.

Moreover, it is stated that the character will not only appear as a brief cameo in the film but will have an important role.

However, it is not yet clear whether Ruffalo will appear before the audience in the Professor Hulk form we previously saw in the film Avengers: Endgame, or as Bruce Banner.

CHANGE IN THE DIRECTOR'S CHAIR

Jon Watts, who sat in the director's chair for the first three films of the series, is this time handing over his position to Destin Daniel Cretton, known for the film Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings.

There are also familiar faces in the film's cast. Zendaya (MJ) and Jacob Batalon (Ned) will return to their roles from the previous films; however, it is noted that the duo will have more limited screen time in this film.

The new film also sees Sadie Sink, known for Stranger Things, and Liza Colon-Zayas joining the series. How these new characters will be integrated into the story remains a mystery.
