The suspicious death of Semanur, who fell from a 43-story skyscraper: Murder details!

In an incident that occurred on the evening of October 20 in the Konutkent neighborhood of Ankara's Çankaya district, 27-year-old equestrian instructor Semanur Arslan lost her life after falling from the top floor of a 43-story skyscraper. Police teams, who arrived at the scene following reports from citizens, determined that the lifeless body lying on the ground belonged to Arslan.

Ferhat D. (43) and Ezgi Ö. (31), who were with Arslan at the time of the incident, were taken to the police station to provide their statements. Ferhat D. stated that he did not know Arslan, that he was in another room during the incident, and that they did not see Arslan when they went outside. Ezgi Ö., in her statement, claimed that Arslan had problems with her boyfriend and was constantly crying.

However, Arslan's family challenged these claims, alleging that the incident was a murder disguised as a suicide.

"My Daughter Would Not Commit Suicide"

Elif Karaca, the mother of the late Semanur Arslan, stated that there was no reason for her daughter to commit suicide and that the incident was suspicious.

Karaca cried out, saying, “She was very happy that day. She had said she was going to Cappadocia. My daughter was never someone who would commit suicide. She was a person full of life and joy. I had reacted when I saw the woman living in the house where she died, and she had told me she didn't see her much. I didn't even know she was in Ankara. I don't have anything specific I suspect, but I am sure my daughter did not commit suicide. She had dreams; she had told me, ‘I will build you a very beautiful family.’ Do not let this incident be covered up; let the truth come out. I cannot bear it, I am about to go crazy. I don't want to live without my child.”

"My Sister Was Being Threatened"

Arslan's brother, Serhat Arslan, also emphasized that his sister was a cheerful and life-loving person and demanded that the incident be clarified.

Serhat Arslan stated, “The statements of the two people in the house where my sister died are contradictory. My sister died shortly after calling a taxi. Someone who is going to commit suicide does not call a taxi. Her phone was tampered with; this is definitely not a suicide. They claim they didn't know my sister, but both of them were following my sister on social media. They closed their accounts the moment they were released. My sister had gone to that house to bring the two of them together; she told me this herself. They are lying; my sister didn't even use alcohol. She was a strong woman; it is impossible for her to commit suicide. Anyone who called for help as soon as they heard can solve this incident. Let my sister's voice be heard, let her blood not remain on the ground. They spent hours trying to clean up her blood. There are other things behind this, but I don't have a guess as to why she died. There were people who were threatening my sister.”

Clarification of the Incident Expected

The Arslan family, stating that the young woman was not prone to suicide, believes the incident was a murder and is demanding a fair investigation from the authorities to clarify the matter.

The family's lawyers announced that they are closely following the process and that all necessary legal steps will be taken.
