Tax rates for workers and civil servants for 2025 have been determined

Worker and civil servant salaries are taxed annually according to the income tax tariff. The amount of the first bracket, which corresponds to the 15 percent portion of income tax, is determined by the revaluation rate.
The revaluation rate for 2025 has been set at 43.93 percent.
HOW MUCH WILL TAXES AND FEES INCREASE?
Accordingly, the first bracket of income tax will rise from 110 thousand liras to 158 thousand liras for the coming year.
According to the law, AKP President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan has the authority to increase or decrease the revaluation rate by 50 percent.
The final decision regarding income tax brackets will be published in the Official Gazette towards the end of the year.
HOW MUCH WILL THE SALARIES OF CIVIL SERVANTS AND RETIREES BE?
As employees' tax brackets rise, fewer deductions will be made from their net wages.
If the President exercises his authority, the first bracket could rise to as much as 237 thousand TL.
INCOME TAX RATES
If a 43.93 percent increase is applied to the other income tax brackets as well, the table for 2025 will look as follows:
15 percent up to 158 thousand liras,
23 thousand 700 liras for the 158 thousand lira portion of 330 thousand liras, 20 percent for the excess
66 thousand liras for the 330 thousand lira portion of 1 million 250 thousand liras, 27 percent for the excess
337 thousand 500 liras for the 1 million 250 thousand lira portion of 4 million 300 thousand liras, 35 percent for the excess
For earnings over 4 million 300 thousand liras, 1 million 500 thousand liras for this portion, 40 percent for the excess
2024 INCOME TAX RATES
15 percent up to 110 thousand liras,
16 thousand 500 liras for the 110 thousand lira portion of 230 thousand liras, 20 percent for the excess
40 thousand 500 liras for the 230 thousand lira portion of 870 thousand liras, 27 percent for the excess
213 thousand 300 liras for the 870 thousand lira portion of 3 million liras, 35 percent for the excess
958 thousand 800 liras for the 3 million lira portion of amounts over 3 million liras, 40 percent for the excess
