3 SOLDIERS WERE MARTYRED IN THE RESCUE OPERATION

Captains Ertuğ Güler and Burak Coşkun, as well as Petty Officer Harun Turhan, who were serving under the Special Forces Command during the rescue operation, were also martyred.

Chief of General Staff Yaşar Güler had described the structure of the cave where 13 people were massacred. Güler stated the following: There are 3 entrances, 9 rooms, and 7 iron doors in the cave.
