In Borsa Istanbul, the BIST 100 index experienced a decline of 0.86 percent during the week of August 12-16 and 7.68 percent since the beginning of the month, while it has gained 31.48 percent since the start of the year.

During the week of August 12-16, the stock that rose the most among those in the BIST 100 index was Şekerbank (SKBNK) with 10.29 percent. It was followed by Batı Çimento (BTCIM) with 9.94 percent, and Akbank (AKBNK) with 7.37 percent.
Among the BIST 100 index stocks that attracted the most attention and trading volume from investors last week, Turkish Airlines (THYAO) led the way with 43 billion 48 million TL, followed by Ereğli Demir Çelik (EREGL) with 28 billion 251 million TL and İş Bankası (ISCTR) with 20 billion 832 million TL.
Among the stocks included in the BIST 100 index, Koç Holding (KCHOL) ranked first with a value of 460 billion 11 million TL, followed by Garanti BBVA (GARAN) with a value of 457 billion 800 million TL. Turkish Airlines (THYAO) ranked 3rd with a market capitalization of 405 billion 30 million TL.
According to the İş Yatırım report dated August 16, the top 5 stocks that have seen a continuous increase in foreign ownership in recent days are Anel Elektrik (ANELE) with 10 days, Aksa Enerji (AKSEN) and CEO Event Medya (CEOEM) with 9 days, and Akın Tekstil (ATEKS) and Marka Yatırım Holding (MARKA) with 7 days.
Similarly, 5 of the stocks that have seen a continuous decline in foreign ownership in recent days are Atlas Yatırım Ortaklığı (ATLAS), Escort Teknoloji (ESCOM), Euro Trend Yatırım Ortaklığı (ETYAT), Global Menkul Değerler (GLBMD), which have seen a decline for 10 days, and İş Bankası (ISCTR), which has shown a decrease in foreign ownership for 8 days.
