13 more mayors are switching to the AKP. It is expected that the party will pin badges on two of these mayors during today's AKP Group Meeting.
Here are the names who will join the AK Party:
Ali Aydemir, the central district mayor of Sivas who resigned from the YRP
Alpaslan Karabulut, the mayor of the Beşiri district in Batman, has resigned from the YRP.
Independent Mayor of Trabzon's Vakfıkebir district, Fuat Koçal
Halil İbrahim Karabulut, Mayor of the İkiköprü Municipality in Beşiri, Batman, who has resigned from the HDP
YRP Trabzon Arsin District Mayor Hamza Bilgin
İlhami Zeyrek, Mayor of Yücekapı Town in Eleşkirt, Ağrı, from the YRP
İmadeddin Ekmiş, the mayor of the Batman Central district, has resigned from the YRP.
İsmet Aslan, YRP Mayor of Hamur district in Ağrı
Mehmet Ali Yılmaz, the mayor of the Yalıhüyük district of Konya, has resigned from the YRP.
Mustafa Duran, the mayor of the town of Köseli in the Çiçekdağı district of Kırşehir, has resigned from the Democrat Party (DP).
Independent Mayor of Hüyük district in Konya, Sadık Sefer
Sedat Uçar, the mayor of the Yedisu district in Bingöl, has resigned from the İYİ Party.
