This is how lawyers cornered Nevzat Bahtiyar in court! Did Narin's body not decompose in the water?

The 3-day trial for the murder of Narin Güran, whose death plunged Turkey into mourning, concluded late last night. 

The trial was adjourned until December 26, and it was decided that the detention of all defendants will continue. 

Notable events took place during the trial. 

According to Özgür Cebe from Sözcü, the lawyers for the plaintiffs requested that Narin's first-degree relatives be removed from the courtroom. They stated that they would be presenting a defense regarding the discovery of Narin's body and the subsequent events. 

This was because, during the defense presentation yesterday, her father, Arif, had suffered a nervous breakdown and fainted, leading to him being taken outside. 

The presiding judge accepted this request and had them removed from the courtroom. 

After the family members were removed, the lawyer for the plaintiffs pointed out that the statements of the confessor, Nevzat Bahtiyar, contradicted the autopsy reports...

The autopsy report indicated that live terrestrial larvae were found on Narin's body...

That these larvae could not have survived in water...

It was suggested that Narin might have been killed elsewhere, hidden for a period, and then concealed in the water. 

THE PRESIDING JUDGE TOOK OFF HIS ROBE AND ADDRESSED BAHTİYAR

At this point, the presiding judge stood up, took off his robe, turned to Nevzat Bahtiyar, and asked: I am asking you not as a judge now, but as a father. 

I am also a father and I have 2 children. 

If there is anything you know, if there is anything you are hiding, we have already removed the family. Tell us everything you know here. 

If there is something you are hiding, you can do this to ease your conscience, he asked. 

Bahtiyar, in turn, reiterated the statements he gave to the prosecutor's office and the gendarmerie, stating that those testimonies were valid.
