Serious findings were encountered in recent tests, particularly in coffee and chocolate products.

The Ministry announced that pharmaceutical active ingredients were detected in these products and that this situation poses a major threat to food safety.

It was stated that action has been taken to stop the sale of the relevant products and to recall them.

Following the latest inspections, the Ministry announced the list of products and brands that threaten health as follows:

Centuar Gıda İlaç Kozmetik ve Kuyumculuk Sanayi Ticaret Anonim Şirketi: Bolld Extra Epimedium and Red Ginseng Herbal Mixture Chocolate (Detection of pharmaceutical active ingredient, Ataşehir/Istanbul)

Stating that the consumption of non-compliant products could lead to serious health problems, the Ministry warned citizens to avoid these products. It was also noted that inspections will continue strictly to ensure food safety.
