Those series have ended: 13 shows didn't make it to the new year!

Since September, which is considered the start of the new broadcasting season, news of finales has come from many television series. A total of 13 series, 8 of which started this season, decided to air their finales before entering 2025.

WHY DID THE SERIES END?

The economic crisis has hit the world of television series as well; the fact that the rise in inflation could not keep pace with advertising rates, and that advertising revenue collected from ratings last year dropped by half this year, created a seismic effect in the industry. For this reason, many series decided to end.

WHICH SERIES ENDED?

The series that started this season and have ended are as follows;

KÖR NOKTA

A finale decision was made for the series Kör Nokta, starring Rabia Soytürk and İsmail Ege Şaşmaz. Produced by Osman Sınav, Kör Nokta ended with its 4th episode.

KÖTÜ KAN

Kötü Kan decided to bid farewell to the screens with its 6th episode as it could not achieve the expected success in the ratings.

GÜZEL AŞKLAR DİYARI

Following the latest ratings, it was decided that the series 'Güzel Aşklar Diyarı', produced by MedYapım and Mahsun Kırmızıgül's production company Boyut Film, would bid farewell to the screen in the 6th episode.

KARADUT

The series Karadut bid farewell to the screens with its 6th episode.

GİZLİ BAHÇE

Although 'Gizli Bahçe', which started on NOW TV, was well-received by the audience, it ended with its 6th episode.

KALPAZAN

Kalpazan, which aired its first episode on October 21, decided to end. The series Kalpazan, produced by O3 Medya and directed by Uğur Karaaslan, ended with its 8th episode.

AŞK EVLİLİK BOŞANMA

The series Aşk Evlilik Boşanma, which aired on Tuesday evenings, succumbed to rating competition. The series decided on an early finale in the 4th episode because it did not receive the desired viewership rates.

HOLDİNG

The series Holding, which had a low opening with a 2.83 rating in the first episode, lost even more of its ratings in subsequent episodes, falling below 2.

Unable to stop the decline, the producers decided to end the series in the 4th episode.

Taş Kağıt Makas, which brought together Ekin Koç, Serra Arıtürk, Burak Yörük, and Ozan Güven, ended with its 19th episode and concluded its screen journey.

Kirli Sepeti also could not hold on to the screens and bid farewell with its 40th episode.

KARA AĞAÇ DESTANI

TRT1's popular series Kara Ağaç Destanı ended with its 30th episode.

YALAN

The Kanal D series Yalan concluded its screen journey with its 30th episode, which aired on Saturday, December 28.

YABANİ

Although it has been confirmed that Yabani, for which finale preparations have begun, will end in the 51st episode, it is not exactly clear when the finale will air because it will not be broadcast for a few episodes following the penalty it received from RTÜK.
