Where is Tekin from Arka Sokaklar? What happened to Tekin?

The character Tekin, played by Onur Bay in the series Arka Sokaklar, is no longer in the show. Onur Bay, who joined Arka Sokaklar at the age of 10, played the role until he was 25. Having brought the character of Tekin to life for 15 years, Onur decided to leave the series in 2021.

Tekin, the son of Hüsnü Çoban, was a mischievous child who repeatedly got into trouble. Hüsnü Çoban experienced many difficult days because of Tekin and his brother Metin. As Tekin grew up, he became interested in music and started performing on stage. When he appeared on stage in drag for a play, it nearly gave Hüsnü a heart attack.

When Tekin grew up, he decided to move to Germany. That is how the character of Tekin left the series.

Onur Bay, who played Tekin, explained his departure from the series with these words:

"I want to do new things now. This is something I have been thinking about for a very long time, but on the other hand, there is a job here that has been going on for 15 years. It doesn't matter what the job is. Even if you went to an office for 15 years, it would be hard to leave. I thought a lot about making this decision."
