The Kanal D management decided to cancel the series due to low ratings. The series 'Piyasa' had achieved good results in the ratings with its first 3 episodes. A decline began with the 4th episode, and the 5th episode of the series failed to enter the top 10 in the ratings.
"The audience didn't like it"
Regarding the series' finale, İlayda Alişan said, "We filmed the final episode. I am resting these days. The audience didn't like (the series), it's their discretion... There is nothing to be done. Sometimes when things don't work out, they just don't."
