Why was Rojin's phone password long? Her father explains
Rojin Kabaiş's father, Nizamettin Kabaiş, has explained the reason behind his daughter's long phone password. Her father stated that Rojin had accumulated large sums of money in her account, which is why her password was long. Rejecting claims of suicide, Kabaiş emphasized that Rojin was in a healthy state of mind and expressed his suspicion that something bad had happened to her.
The funeral of 21-year-old university student Rojin Kabaiş, who went missing in Van on September 27 and whose body was found on the shores of Lake Van on October 15, was held yesterday in her hometown of Diyarbakır.
WHY IS ROJİN'S PHONE PASSWORD LONG?
While the investigation into the Rojin case continues, her father said that his daughter did not commit suicide and that the reason her phone password was long was due to the money she received in her account.
Kabaiş said, "There was money in her account, so she used a long password. Sometimes up to 60, 70, or 80 thousand liras would accumulate."
Nizamettin Kabaiş stated that they do not want their pain to be doubled by claims of suicide.
Arguing that it was not suicide, Kabaiş said, "I ask the authorities. Let them find the people who committed this atrocity as soon as possible. My daughter had no reason to commit suicide; we saw no signs of it. They say, 'suicide.' Let them show me evidence. If a person is going to commit suicide, would they put a cake in their pocket, take water with them, or eat a meal before leaving? The child went for a walk in slippers. The lake and the university campus are side by side. People who haven't seen it ask, 'What was she doing there?' Everyone goes there for a walk, and Rojin went there for a walk too. She told her friends she was going to collect pebbles," he said.
Kabaiş continued his speech as follows:
"I have said it many times. That blind spot is dangerous; she went there. Drinkers or substance abusers harmed her. Because there is no wire fence there, it is an empty space, and there is no camera coverage. When I went there on the second day, I saw liquor bottles. This is what comes to my mind. If the lake were deep, we might say she went to the edge and fell in, but that is not the case either. It is not a place to commit suicide. Rojin would not commit suicide, and she did not. They should not think of it this way. I absolutely do not accept this; it is not suicide."
